Ski Mountains in the Mid-Atlantic
Mid-Atlantic covers 30 mountains across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia — shorter vertical than the big Western ranges, but a real skiing culture built on night skiing and heavy snowmaking. Seven Springs, Snowshoe, Liberty Mountain Resort, and Whitetail Resort are the region's biggest names, mostly riding on Epic, with Wisp and Massanutten Resort rounding things out on Indy. It's built for weeknight laps and weekend day trips rather than week-long destination vacations, and a natural entry point for skiers along the I-95 corridor who don't want to fly to reach real lift-served terrain.
