About Winterplace Ski Resort
Winterplace has been running lifts on Flat Top Mountain near Ghent, West Virginia since 1983, just off I-77. Twenty-eight trails and ten lifts cover a 603-foot vertical, with night skiing and a terrain park keeping things lively after dark. The resort's 16-lane tubing hill is billed as the largest in West Virginia, a big draw for non-skiers in the group. It's on the Indy Pass, an easy stop for pass holders working through the southern Mid-Atlantic.
