About Mountain Creek
Mountain Creek is northern New Jersey's largest ski resort, in Vernon Township about 47 miles from the George Washington Bridge. It offers 1,040 feet of vertical across 167 acres and 46 trails spread over two peaks, with full snowmaking and one of the region's biggest night-skiing operations lighting nearly every run. A gondola and a fleet of chairlifts serve terrain ranging from wide beginner slopes to 17 dedicated terrain-park trails on South Peak. Founded in 1965 as Great Gorge and now run by Snow Partners, it operates year-round with a summer waterpark, alpine coaster, and mountain bike park.
