About Winter4Kids
Winter4Kids operates the National Winter Activity Center, the only nonprofit 501(c)(3) winter facility of its kind in the United States, at the site of the former Hidden Valley ski area in Vernon, New Jersey. Four lifts, including a triple and two double chairlifts plus a surface lift, serve 15 trails over a 620-foot vertical, all with snowmaking and 100 percent night-skiing capability. The organization runs mentor-based programs that bring underserved youth into skiing, snowboarding, and Nordic skiing at no cost, backed by a large lodge with full kitchens and equipment rooms. Winter4Kids joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
