About Campgaw
Run by Bergen County in Mahwah, Campgaw Mountain is the closest ski hill to the New York metro area and a classic learn-to-ski spot. Its dozen trails drop roughly 274 feet, served by two double chairs and two magic carpets, with snowmaking covering every run. Night skiing lights half the mountain, and a freestyle terrain park gives progressing riders somewhere to practice. Six tubing lanes round out the operation. It's a county-run area, not tied to Epic, Ikon, or Indy.
