Montage Mountain rises right within Scranton, Pennsylvania's city limits, about as close to downtown as lift-served skiing gets in the Northeast. Twenty-seven trails and seven lifts cover a 1,000-foot vertical, with night skiing and a terrain park rounding things out. It's part of the Indy Pass, giving pass holders a convenient stop in northeastern Pennsylvania. The in-town location makes it an easy after-work mountain for Scranton-area skiers who don't want a long drive to get turns in.
