About Ski Big Bear
Two hours from New York City in the Northern Poconos, Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain has kept families skiing for more than 45 years. Seven lifts serve 18 trails over a 650-foot vertical, split close to evenly between beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain, with three separate terrain parks for freestyle skiers and riders. Night skiing runs Wednesday through Saturday, and the summit lodge has a full restaurant and bar for apres. It's on the Indy Pass, a solid weekend option for the NYC-to-Poconos crowd.
