About Ober Gatlinburg
Tennessee's only ski area, perched above Gatlinburg in the Smokies, reverted to its historic name, Ober Gatlinburg, in 2026 after a few years as Ober Mountain. It's a modest hill by western standards, 526 feet of vertical over 11 trails and 5 lifts, but it's also a year-round mountain park with a tram, alpine slide, and ice rink, and it holds a spot on the Indy Pass.
