12 Mountains Added to Our Region Pages

October 26, 2026 · News

A quick housekeeping update to go with today's Indy Pass roster cleanup: twelve mountains in our directory were missing a region, so they had their own pages but never appeared on a region page. That's fixed.

Where they landed

• Rockies: Cuchara Mountain Park (CO), Little Ski Hill (ID), and Magic Mountain Resort (ID)
• Canada: Mont Sutton and Owl's Head in Quebec's Eastern Townships, plus Smokey Mountain Ski Club in Labrador City
• Midwest: Hyland Hills Ski Area (MN) and Sunburst Ski Hill (WI)
• Western: Donner Ski Ranch (CA)
• Northeast: Buffalo Ski Center (NY)
• Austria: Kaunertaler Gletscher
• Japan: Shiga Kogen Mountain Resort

All of them except Shiga Kogen are on the Indy Pass for 2026-27. Shiga Kogen is on the Ikon Pass.

Updated region counts

We also refreshed the mountain counts on each region page, a few of which had fallen behind the directory. The Northeast now lists 97 mountains, the Rockies 80, the Midwest 64, Canada 60, the West 51, Japan 44, and Austria 18.

Browse every region from the Regions page, or find a mountain near you on the map.
