About Kaunertaler Gletscher
Kaunertaler Gletscher is one of Austria's highest ski areas, with lift-served terrain running from 2,150 up to 3,113 meters on the Kaunertal glacier. Nine lifts, including a 100-person funifor cable car, reach 23 pistes and roughly 3,159 feet of vertical, plus a floodlit ski tunnel connecting to the Ochsenalm mid-station. It's on the Indy Pass and known among steep-terrain seekers for the Black Ibex slope, one of Europe's steepest pitches.
