About Onikoube Ski Resort
Onikoube Ski Resort is the largest ski area in northern Miyagi Prefecture, set in Kurikoma Quasi-National Park in Osaki, Japan. Six pair lifts serve 8 courses, with a fairly even mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain plus one of the longest ungroomed powder runs in the prefecture. It is the only ski area in Miyagi that skips snowmaking entirely, relying on natural powder, and several lodges at the base offer natural hot spring baths. Night skiing runs on weekends and holidays. Onikoube joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
