About Geto Kogen
Geto Kogen, in the mountains west of Kitakami in Japan's Iwate Prefecture, has a reputation for some of the deepest snowpack readings in the country. Five lifts serve 14 trails and 1,410 vertical feet, with a terrain park and night skiing under the lights on weekends and holidays. It's one of the Indy Pass's Japanese partners, and the snow — not the trail count — is what makes people plan a trip around it.
