About Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area
Enchanted Forest is New Mexico's dedicated cross-country ski and snowshoe area, set in the Carson National Forest just outside Red River. It grooms 35 trails for classic and skate skiing, with additional snowshoe-only routes, and has no downhill lifts. Enchanted Forest is part of the Indy Pass network, a rare Nordic-focused stop on a pass otherwise dominated by alpine resorts.
