About Kendall Mountain Ski Center
Kendall Mountain Ski Center is a town-run community hill in Silverton, deep in Colorado's San Juan Mountains, marketed as the cheapest ski area in the West. A single double chairlift, installed in 2006, serves four groomed trails plus scattered tree runs and a small terrain park across 240 feet of vertical and about 35 acres. It relies entirely on natural snow, so open dates shift with the season. Family-friendly and inexpensive, it's the low-key counterpart to nearby Silverton Mountain's extreme terrain. Kendall Mountain Ski Center joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
