About Crested Butte
Crested Butte sits deep in a remote corner of western Colorado, far enough off the interstate that it's kept a scrappy, unpolished character even as a full Epic resort. Vertical runs 2,502 feet off an 11,877-foot summit, with extreme terrain in the Extreme Limits zone that draws serious expert skiers. The old mining town below is small and walkable, much less built-up than its Vail Resorts siblings.
