About Thrill Hills
Thrill Hills is a small, family-run ski and tubing hill on Bear's Den Mountain in the Sheyenne River Valley near Fort Ransom, North Dakota, about 30 miles south of Valley City. Three lifts serve 10 runs carved into the river breaks, with terrain split between beginner and intermediate skiing and snowboarding, plus a dedicated tubing hill. The updated lodge offers hot food, a full bar and a fireplace. Closed for several years, it reopened in 2019 and is run by two local families with volunteer support. Thrill Hills joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
