About Huff Hills Ski Area
Huff Hills bills itself as North Dakota's largest ski area, spread across 70 acres in the Missouri River valley south of Bismarck-Mandan. Four lifts serve 16 trails over a 400-foot vertical, with night skiing and a terrain park, and the base lodge runs on fireplace warmth, a yurt, and a locally famous Huff Burger. Snowfall averages around 55 inches a year. It's on the Indy Pass, a solid midweek option for a state better known for wheat than for vertical feet.
