About Powder Ridge Winter Recreation Area
Powder Ridge is a four-season mountain park in Middlefield, Connecticut, that closed in 2007 and reopened in 2013 under new ownership. Its 19 trails run down a 417-foot vertical drop, served by six lifts with night skiing and terrain parks for freestyle skiers. Beyond winter, the park stays busy with mountain biking and zip lines. It's on the Indy Pass roster, a solid option for Connecticut skiers who don't want to drive to Vermont.
