Yawgoo Valley holds a singular title: it's Rhode Island's only ski area, tucked into Exeter with 14 trails and 245 vertical feet served by three lifts. Terrain leans toward beginners and intermediates, but a terrain park and halfpipe give park riders something to work with, and an eight-lane tubing park keeps non-skiers in the group busy. Night skiing stretches the short season into the evenings. It stands entirely on its own rather than riding on Epic, Ikon, or Indy, which fits a hill that's more community fixture than destination resort.
