On the northern slopes of Mt. Iwaki near Ajigasawa, at the northern tip of Honshu, Aomori Spring is known locally for reliable, dry powder. It runs 14 trails and 5 lifts over a 1,788-foot vertical, with night skiing and a terrain park for freestyle riders. It's an Indy Pass resort and one of the more family-friendly options in the Tohoku region, with long, mellow runs alongside steeper pitches.
