About Togakushi Ski Resort
Togakushi Ski Resort sits in the historic shrine town of Togakushi, up in the mountains above Nagano, and keeps a lower profile than the city's Olympic-era resorts. Nineteen trails and seven lifts split into a fairly even beginner-to-advanced mix, including the steep, mogul-strewn Adventure Trail, and a dedicated terrain park gives freestyle riders somewhere to work. Cold, dry winters here mean reliably good snow, and while weekends draw local families, midweek you can often have long runs mostly to yourself. It's on the Indy Pass with no night skiing.
