Hakuba Cortina is the northernmost of Hakuba Valley's linked ski areas, tucked in Otari village about ten kilometers past the main Hakuba strip. It's an Epic Partner resort rather than full Epic access, with a roughly 1,739-foot vertical drop off a 4,600-foot summit. Cortina has a reputation among regulars for quieter lift lines and tree-lined runs compared to its busier valley neighbors — a good pick if you want Hakuba powder without the crowds.
