About The Loppet
The Loppet Foundation grooms roughly 32 km of classic and skate trails through Theodore Wirth Park just north of downtown Minneapolis, the Twin Cities' cross-country skiing hub, with lighted night skiing and snowmaking on key loops. Based out of The Trailhead building, the nonprofit runs a certified ski school, youth programs, and hosted the 2024 Stifel Loppet Cup FIS World Cup, the first World Cup race on US soil in twenty years. The Loppet joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
