About SkiWelt Ellmau
One of the busier gateways into SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, Ellmau is reached by the 10-seat Hartkaiserbahn gondola and known to Austrian TV viewers as a filming location for Der Bergdoktor. Families gather at Ellmi's Zauberwelt, a themed play area at the mountain station, before fanning out across the shared network's roughly 275 km of piste and 81 lifts. It's an Indy Pass access point like the rest of SkiWelt, and the village itself has more apres-ski buzz than some of its quieter valley neighbors.
