About Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser
Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser sits roughly in the middle of the SkiWelt network, reached by the eight-seat Brandstadl gondolas up to 1,650 meters. The village keeps a free practice lift and a floodlit cross-country loop for locals, and in summer the nearby Hintersteiner See, the largest lake in the Wilder Kaiser valley, becomes the draw instead. On snow, it's another Indy Pass gateway into SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental's shared lift system, with the same 275 km of piste as its neighboring villages.
