About Plattekill
Roxbury's Plattekill calls itself the last family-owned, family-operated ski mountain left in the Northern Catskills, and it runs like it: weekend-and-holiday hours, a loyal local crowd, and 41 trails dropping 1,100 vertical feet. It's an Indy Pass partner, so a couple of days here are covered for Indy holders alongside Plattekill's own season pass options. Snowtubing gives non-skiers something to do while the rest of the group is on the hill. If you want a Catskills ski day built on grit and ownership rather than a corporate playbook, this is the one.
