About Mount Baldy Ski Area
For more than 60 years, Mount Baldy has been the local hill for Thunder Bay, perched on Lake Superior's north shore about 20 minutes from downtown. Three lifts, including the Stanislav Express quad, cover 12 runs and a 476-foot vertical split roughly 20 percent beginner, 40 percent intermediate, and 40 percent advanced. Night skiing and a terrain park round it out. It's an Indy Pass stop, and it's a different Mount Baldy from the one in California, so don't mix up your trip.
