About Mont Ripley Ski Area
Mont Ripley is Michigan Tech's own ski hill above Hancock in the snowy Keweenaw Peninsula, one of the oldest ski areas in the Midwest, dating to 1934. Run by the university with a 440-foot vertical drop, it's an Indy AddOn partner and offers a terrain park and night skiing for students and locals alike.
