About Moose Mountain
Ten miles west of Fairbanks, Moose Mountain is interior Alaska's largest alpine area, with 1,300 feet of vertical spread across roughly 40 runs of intermediate and advanced terrain. Skiers ride heated buses up the access road rather than a chairlift, and the hill runs weekends and holidays through the long Interior winter. It's on the Indy Pass.
