About Montana Snowbowl
Montana Snowbowl has been carving up steep terrain northwest of Missoula since 1962, and the reputation holds: roughly half its 950 acres are glade skiing, with a vintage lift fleet, Riblet doubles, a Skytrac triple, and a T-bar, hauling skiers up a 2,600-foot vertical across 39 trails. Snowfall averages around 300 inches a year in the Lolo National Forest, and the terrain skews expert. It's on the Indy Pass, an under-the-radar option for skiers who want steep and quiet over polished and crowded.
