About Manning Park Ski Area
Manning Park sits along the Crowsnest Highway in BC's Cascade Mountains, with 35 alpine trails and 5 lifts over a 1,417-foot vertical, plus a terrain park for the freestyle set. The bigger draw for a lot of visitors is what's beyond the lifts — more than 60 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails and another 160 kilometers of backcountry terrain for snowshoeing and touring. It's part of the Indy Pass. A good pick for a group split between alpine skiers and everyone else who'd rather glide than carve.
