A snow park with a full lineup of features draws the freestyle crowd, and the on-site Maiko Kogen Hotel and hot spring make it easy to base a whole trip there. It's on the Indy Pass roster, a solid stop for pass holders touring Niigata's snow country. Big enough to fill a few days, convenient enough to reach without a rental-car detour.
