About Kandatsu Snow Resort
Kandatsu Snow Resort sits in Yuzawa, Niigata, minutes from the Kanetsu Expressway and a short free shuttle ride from Echigo-Yuzawa Shinkansen station, making it one of the closest 100 percent natural-snow resorts to Tokyo. Sixteen trails and 5 lifts serve terrain that includes some of the steepest pitches in the region, a long beginner run, and popular tree skiing. Onsite hot springs at Kami no Yu and Sauna plus weekend night skiing until 2am round out a resort built around convenience and genuine Japanese powder. Kandatsu Snow Resort joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
