About Bear Basin Nordic Center
Bear Basin Nordic Center is a community-driven cross-country ski and snowshoe network operated by the Payette Lakes Ski Club just west of McCall, Idaho. Nestled in the scenic Payette National Forest, the trail system spans over 25 kilometers of meticulously groomed classic and skate trails winding through dense pine forests and rolling open meadows. Open daily throughout the winter with trails tailored for all ability levels and dog-friendly loops, Bear Basin joined the Indy Pass cross-country roster for the 2026-27 season, offering two complimentary Nordic trail passes.
