About Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort
Anthony Lakes rises above North Powder in Oregon's Elkhorn Mountains, with the highest base elevation of any ski area in the state at 7,100 feet. It's independent, unaffiliated with any pass, and refreshingly low-key: no lift lines to speak of, and no social media account by choice. A single triple chair plus a hand tow and carpet serve 900 vertical feet across 24 trails, with cross-country and snowcat skiing rounding things out. Camping is available on site for anyone chasing first tracks in the region's dry, high-elevation powder.
