About Alyeska Resort
Alyeska is Alaska's flagship resort, rising 2,487 feet from the Girdwood valley floor about 40 miles from Anchorage. An aerial tram and a fleet of chairlifts serve 1,610 acres known for steep faces, hanging glaciers, and a claimed 669 inches of annual snowfall — among the deepest totals in North America. On the Ikon Pass with seven days for full passholders, it's the network's only Alaskan stop. North-facing terrain keeps midwinter days dark and cold, but March and April deliver legendary spring skiing.
