Treetops Resort, better known nationally for its golf courses, also runs a solid winter operation in Gaylord, Michigan: five lifts serve roughly two dozen trails across a modest vertical, with terrain parks and cross-country trails rounding out the snow side. It's part of the Indy Pass network, a good stop for skiers touring northern Michigan's cluster of resorts near I-75.
