About Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort
Sierra-at-Tahoe is South Lake Tahoe's only Ikon Pass destination, and it's held onto its Powder Alliance ties too, so passholders from both networks can ski here. Fourteen lifts, including three express quads, serve 50 trails and a 2,212-foot vertical drop across 2,000 acres, with the 2.5-mile Sugar 'n Spice run standing out as one of the longest green runs around. It draws heavy Bay Area and Sacramento traffic thanks to easy Highway 50 access, but the terrain holds its own against bigger Tahoe names. Snowfall averages over 400 inches most winters.
