About Palisades Tahoe, CA

Palisades Tahoe — the former Squaw Valley, renamed in 2021 — sits in Olympic Valley on Lake Tahoe's north shore and ranks as Ikon's largest single destination in North America. Combined with sister mountain Alpine Meadows under one ticket, the resort spans roughly 270 runs and 43 lifts, about 2,850 feet of vertical, and the only funitel in the U.S. It hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics and still carries that big-mountain reputation today.
