About Scotts Cobble Nordic Center
Scotts Cobble Nordic Center occupies part of the Craig Wood Golf Course in Lake Placid, New York, along the Jackrabbit Trail near the village. Opened in 2022, it offers over 15 kilometers of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing, and sledding, plus night skiing under motion-sensor lights. A heated lodge with a rental shop and weekend cafe anchors the base. High Peaks Cyclery operates the center with the Town of North Elba, reviving a tradition on land the town first developed in 1938. Scotts Cobble Nordic Center joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
