About Ruka Ski Resort
Ruka is Finland's most popular ski resort, set on a fell above the town of Kuusamo in North Ostrobothnia with a season that reliably runs from October into May. Forty-two trails and 23 lifts cover terrain that leans advanced, with over half the runs rated intermediate or expert despite a modest 659-foot vertical. The resort is known for extensive night skiing, well-groomed slopes, and easy access from Kuusamo Airport, and it doubles as a summer and Nordic sports hub tied to Finland's national cross-country and ski jumping teams. Ruka Ski Resort joined the Indy Pass for the 2026-27 season.
