About Rikert Outdoor Center
Rikert Outdoor Center — until recently the Rikert Nordic Center — grooms a 35-trail cross-country network in the hills above Ripton, Vermont, run by Middlebury College. There are no lifts, about 350 feet of rolling elevation change, and a quiet corner of the Green Mountain National Forest ambiance to go with it. It's part of the Indy Pass's cross-country lineup, and the college connection keeps the trails impeccably maintained through the season.
