About Saskadena Six Ski Area
Saskadena Six — formerly Suicide Six, renamed in 2022 with an Abenaki word meaning 'standing mountain' — has been sending skiers uphill in South Pomfret, Vermont since 1936, making it one of the oldest ski areas in the country. Owned by the Woodstock Inn & Resort, it runs three lifts over 28 trails and 650 vertical feet, and hosts the Fisk Trophy Race, the longest-running ski race in North America. It's on the Indy Pass and Uphill New England.
