About Red Mountain, BC Canada
Red Mountain grew out of a Rossland gold-rush mining town and is often called western Canada's oldest ski resort. Three peaks, Red, Granite, and Grey Mountain, combine for 2,910 feet of vertical and 110 named runs, all on the Ikon Pass. It plays more like a skier's mountain than a resort-town spectacle: old-school lift lines, steep glades, and a low-key base area. Rossland's mining-era downtown is a short drive from the lifts.
