About 49° North Mountain Resort
49° North is Eastern Washington's largest ski area, set in the Colville National Forest outside Chewelah. Ninety trails and seven lifts — including the Northern Spirit high-speed quad added in 2021, one of the more powerful lifts in the Inland Northwest — cover a 1,871-foot vertical of wide groomers, moguls, and deep tree skiing. There's a terrain park and a groomed Nordic network for cross-country skiers too. It's part of the Indy Pass, a solid stop for pass holders working through the inland Northwest.
