About Black Jack Ski Club
Just north of Rossland, across the highway from Red Mountain, Black Jack is BC's premier Nordic club: a nonprofit with roughly 50 km of classic and skate trails and a 2.5 km lit night-ski loop for after-work laps. It runs on the Indy Pass, so visiting cross-country skiers can tack on a day here alongside a downhill trip to Red. There are no lifts and no crowds, just groomed track through the Kootenay forest and a community of 750-plus members who keep it running.
