About Pippu Ski Resort
A small, town-run hill about 40 minutes northeast of Asahikawa, Pippu Ski Resort looks out across the Kamikawa Basin toward the Daisetsuzan range. The longest run stretches 2.2 km down a slope that tops out around 36 degrees, and night skiing runs into late February. A free shuttle from Pippu's JR station makes it car-optional for a day trip. It's a community hill more than a destination resort, and it's listed on the Indy Pass roster alongside the bigger Hokkaido names.
