About Mt. Hood Skibowl

Mt. Hood Skibowl sits at Government Camp, Oregon, the lowest and closest of Mount Hood's ski areas to Portland. Its 1,377 feet of vertical over 960 acres include the largest night-skiing operation in America, with upper-bowl terrain that skis far steeper than the modest lift fleet suggests. Chairlifts and surface tows serve about 65 runs. A Powder Alliance member, it pairs naturally with neighboring Timberline via the Fusion Pass, and roughly 250 inches of Cascade snow fall in an average winter.
