About Hurricane Ridge Ski and Snowboard Area
Hurricane Ridge is one of the last lift-served ski areas left inside a U.S. National Park, run by the nonprofit Hurricane Ridge Education Foundation seventeen miles from Port Angeles. It's small by design — 12 trails, 3 lifts, a 700-foot vertical — with a terrain park tucked in for good measure. It's open weekends and holiday Mondays only, weather and road conditions permitting. It's on the Indy Pass, a novelty stop for pass holders who want to say they skied inside a national park.
