About Gore Mountain
Tucked in the southern Adirondacks above North Creek, New York, Gore is the state's largest ski area — 108 trails across seven peaks and a 2,537-foot vertical served by 14 lifts, including a gondola. It's state-owned rather than pass-affiliated, so there's no Epic or Ikon here. Uphill travelers are welcome before and after hours. Between the tree-skiing glades and the sprawling trail count, it's a full-day mountain that rewards exploring rather than lapping one lift.
